Dear Founding Colleagues and Esteemed Members,

I am delighted that, after eight years of serving APSARUS, as the President of the Association, we have been able, with the support and cooperation of our colleagues, particularly Prof. Omid Sedigh and Prof. Soleimanzadeh, to establish APSARUS as an internationally recognized organization with a distinguished position in the field of reconstructive urology and andrology, both in the management of diseases and in introducing advanced surgical procedures.

These achievements would not have been possible without the collaboration and dedication of all our members who have contributed as founders and key members of APSARUS, whose names and expertise are proudly presented on the first page of our website.

After two consecutive four-year terms, it was important to establish a strong and experienced team to lead the Association into the future. Following extensive consultations with all the colleagues and friends who have supported me throughout these eight years, I proposed that Professor Omid Sedigh take on the presidency of APSARUS. I am very pleased that this proposal was welcomed and approved by the majority of the founding members and distinguished experts.

Likewise, Professor Winkle, who is himself one of the founders of the Association, kindly agreed to serve as Secretary of APSARUS. I also invited Professor Carlo Betocchi to join the Board of Directors and take responsibility for international Chair. Finally, colleagues including Professor Buffi,Professor Shamsodini, Professor Eric Chung, Professor Alhajeri, Prof Toto Abalajon were nominated by the members and confirmed. Ultimately, a strong, distinguished, and highly experienced Board of Directors was approved to lead APSARUS over the next four years.

I am truly pleased that all of my colleagues and companions over the past eight years have kindly accepted the responsibility of serving on the Board. I am confident that this team will be able to bring the Association closer to its core objectives, and that we will see a wide range of valuable scientific programs and initiatives from them over the next four years.
